Ready for the Vet

When we get out Oreo's carrier she likes to go lay inside of it.  Oreo likes that it is just about her size and has a soft floor.  She doesn't appreciate being carried in it, or car rides, or elevator rides.  She also did not appreciate the Veterinarian looking at her parts.  While Dr. Branson or Benson (Oreo wasn't paying attention to the damn name tag) gushed over Oreo's cuteness and healthfulness, Oreo continuously attempted to slink away.  She kept being dragged back into the limelight, though.  Oreo was very excited to learn that she has lost 2 lb.'s, in just a year, while eating delicious food.  She has been strutting around ever since.  Currently, Oreo is sleeping in the relative safety of the closet and her carrier is put away for another year.

Ziggy and Oria

This is Oria.  She was named after the hippopotamus on the movie Madagascar.  She is a very paranoid cat.  She grew up with two little boys and a lot of cousins who wouldn't leave her alone.  Her greeting to just about everyone now is caterwauling and hisses.  Food does make her nicer though.

Ziggy is a recent addition to his house. He is almost the opposite of Oria. Ziggy doesn't meow often and his best defense against overabundant loving is to walk casually under a table. Ziggy is the recipient of lots of loving because Oria actively defends against attention.  Ziggy is also very lovable.

These kitties have a wild time in a big house with lots of slippery floors.  Some of the floors are heated, which makes them behave like popcorn.
